that awkward moment when you hastily choose a topic for a research paper and skim through sources for an annotated biblioraphy 

and then get down to actually writing the thing and realize the topic is WAY more complicated then you originally envisioned

and you’ve got a million different JSTOR windows open and five different places marked in different books and 

you know you’re doing way more work than anyone else but you’re in way too deep now to change anything
